Is Crisis Core worth playing?
Crisis core is definitely worth a playthrough, DoC not as much but i guess there is SOME fun to be had if you go into the game with an open mind. Story wise DoC only fleshes out some characters a bit and offers nothing new plotwise, it’s easily skippable.

What is the fastest way to level up in Crisis Core?
You’re gaining exp by killing mobs. The higher the difference between Zack’s available level (meaning, the max level he could be at any given time) and his current level, the greater the chance he’ll level up.
Do you need to grind in Crisis Core?
Leveling up won’t do much for you. You need better materia. While you’re doing the missions to get this better materia, you’ll level up plenty, but it doesn’t really matter.

Fight a Tonberry and let him get all the way towards you. At this point use Mad Rush and keep using R1 with Squall. With my junctions, it only takes about 5-7 hits each character to kill a Tonberry. Depending on your junctions it may take up to 15 hits,if properly junctioned, per character.

Additional Tonberry Battle Tips
- Focus on using your abilities!
- Always case Healing or Revival spells from a safe distance.
- Focus on physical attacks since magic attacks take a few moments to cast making it easier for Tonberry to face you.
- Run in a circle to make sure you’re not facing Tonberry.
Is ff7 grindy?
You can pretty much storm through MOST of the entire game without any major grinding. However if you’re a newbie you may need a little grinding to face off in the final battle.
