Is D grade fail?
If the course is passed, the units of credit will be applied toward graduation. Pass/fail grades are NOT included in the GPA….Grades and the Grading System.

Is 67 a passing grade in college?
A letter grade of a D is technically considered passing because it not a failure. A D is any percentage between 60-69%, whereas a failure occurs below 60%.
Is it bad to pass/fail a class?
If a student passes a class they have designated as pass/fail, a P will appear on their transcript in place of a letter grade. They will receive full academic credit, but the grade will have no impact on their overall GPA.
What happens if you do not pass a class?
The Consequences of Failing a Class A failing grade will likely hurt your GPA (unless you took the course pass/fail), which could jeopardize your financial aid. The failure will end up on your college transcripts and could hurt your chances of getting into graduate school or graduating when you originally planned to.
What happens if you don’t pass a class in college with financial aid?
Failing a class or classes will impact your SAP status. As long as you meet SAP, you will remain eligible for financial aid. If you do not pass a course, you can receive financial aid to repeat it – once you pass with a D or better, you can only retake it once again.
