After they try to interrogate him for a way to save their home, he kills them and reenters the castle, foreshadowing him taking up his father’s vendetta. For someone “good” it didn’t take much to turn him evil.

He’s able to defeat (zombie copies of) Trevor, Sypha, and Grant at once. Frankly, Trevor wouldn’t stand a chance. Therefore, in the Netflix adaptation of Dracula’s Curse, which roughly follows that game’s storyline but uses the SotN version of Alucard (thank God), Trevor does not beat Alucard.
Why are the Belmonts hated?
