Is GWR first class worth?
A first class ticket is much more expensive than standard class, typically over double the cost even if you book 12 weeks in advance, so I’d say it isn’t worth it. However on weekends, GWR offer standard class passengers the chance of first class travel for a small premium.

Can I travel in train without reservation?
Railways have recently introduced unreserved trains due to which passengers can travel without any reservation. Railways have started running ordinary mail express trains as special trains, in which the fare is also being charged more than usual on special days.
Are you allowed to eat on trains?
You can take your face covering off to eat and drink on board our trains. However, we ask that you keep refreshments to a minimum, particularly on shorter journeys, as this will mitigate the risks associated with removing your face covering. You may also remove your mask to take medication during your journey.
Is it illegal not to wear a mask on public transport?
You must wear a face covering on public transport and in taxis and private hire vehicles. If you do not, you could be denied travel, or receive a minimum £200 fine (reduced to £100 if paid within 14 days) which will double each time you are caught not wearing a face covering, up to £6,400.
Is it rude to eat while walking in Japan?

You are allowed to consume alcohol on our trains; however, we do not tolerate any anti-social behaviour. Under the railway byelaws, if you are deemed to be intoxicated we may ask you to leave the train or station.
Is it illegal to be drunk in a pub?
Rules state it is an offence to be drunk on pub premises – even though customers go to a pub to be served alcohol. Section 12 of the 1872 Licensing Act stipulates that ‘every person found drunk… on any licensed premises shall be liable to a penalty’, which currently stands at £200.
Can I carry sealed alcohol bottles in train?
A person can carry alcohol on a train but the person is not allowed to drink or show openly. If a person is carrying alcohol on a train then the quantity of the alcohol should not exceed the limit which is two litres, and the bottle of alcohol should be completely sealed and should be covered.
