HD quality is good. so far no service issues but prepared for the worst if it arises. Dont know where and how this is manufactured but preferred to purchase since it is a sanyo (japanese) company and thought they would not compromise too much on the quality for the sake of price. so far so good.

I am impressed with this TV. In comparison to the LG, the screen seems to be of the same quality but the backlight might be “slightly” dimmer. The sound in better on the Sanyo by a large margin.
