Skate is back! After years of fans demanding a series revival, EA finally confirmed during its EA Play 2020 presentation that Skate 4 was in development. Then it appointed a dedicated developer for it in January 2021.

Great game! The graphics were incredible on the PS5. This is easily the most realistic skating game I have ever played. Controls are easy to figure out, and all tricks look different. There are no set animations for tricks.
Should I buy skater XL or session?
Session controls are clearly more in-depth, more realistic, and allow much better options than Skater XL’s. However, I find that Skater XL is more fun as just a casual, turn on my music and turn off my brain game. Session requires too much focus for me to just relax.
Can you flip in skater XL?
When near the ledge or rail, hold one of your sticks in any direction. You can set a respawn marker with DOWN on the D-pad, and you can spawn at this marker with UP on the D-pad. Keep trying and eventually you will unlock this achievement.

The amount of tricks is lower than most skateboarding games, but every time you do the tricks, they look different. In other words, no, there aren’t late shove its and no complies and street plants or darkslides, but you can do a 360 flip in a thousand different ways.
