Seminarios-Taller ¿Discriminados por ser niños?

The Association GSIA, next to the Complutense University of Madrid, is a promoter of the Seminar-Workshop “Are Discriminated for being children? A look at the social reality of boys and girls in Spain”.

The objective of the seminar is to promote the approach to knowledge and application of the rights of children in research and in professional practice among others.

The seminar is framed in the european project CREATE (Children’s Rights Erasmus Academic Network), and for the commemoration of the XXV anniversary of the CRC (Convention on the Rights of the Child).

PROGRAM

  • Are discriminated for being children? The position of the boys and girls in the society.
  • City and citizenship: The children and the use of public space.
  • The paper interlacing of the school and the family in the case of the children of immigrants.
  • The children of foreign women domestic workers in Spain.
  • Discriminated against for being children in judicial processes.

RECIPIENTS

Students and graduates in the area of the social sciences (sociology, anthropology, social work, psychology, social education, pedagogy, law, etc)

Certificates of ACCREDITATION:

Students that perform at least 4 sessions of the Seminar will receive a diploma and certification 1 credit ECT (in the pipeline).

FEE

Entry 30 euros

Exempt from payment:

Students of the UCM (Complutense University of Madrid), and members of the Network CREATED.

Registered unemployed of the College of Political Science and Sociology and the College of Social Workers of Madrid.
