What are skinks related to?
Skinks are lizards belonging to the family Scincidae, a family in the infraorder Scincomorpha. With more than 1,500 described species across 100 different taxonomic genera, the family Scincidae is one of the most diverse families of lizards.
Will a gecko eat a skink?

What do female skinks look like?
The Garden Skink usually has a browny black colour and sometimes may appear a dark shade of red when bathing in the sun. The female Pale Flecked Garden Sunskink has a yellow, almost orange tinge to her underside, however the males have a light grey tinge to their underside.
