What happened to Ayame?
In the anime, after the Infinite Tsukuyomi was cast, Ayame along with everyone within Konoha was captured by the Ten-Tails roots. Ultimately, she and the rest of the world were freed from the genjutsu by Naruto and Sasuke, after they ended the war.
