What is a harp pin?
The pin (Khmer: ពិណ) is a Cambodian harp, one of the most historically important instruments in Cambodian music. The instrument went extinct c. 1500s, and is now being restored in modern times. Its historical importance is emphasized by the very name for Cambodian classical music, pin-peat (Khmer: ពិណពាទ្).
Do Harps have a bridge?
The harp is unique in that the tension of the strings is taken directly by the sound board. Almost all the other string instruments are built with strings that pass over a bridge. The bridge presses down on the sound board with a small portion of the strung tension.

This personal choice is generally developed over time by the tuner, along with their physical technique for turning the pins.
Can you use a normal wrench to tune a piano?
Yes you can. If you have a 7/16ths, 1/4″-drive socket wrench you turn it so the square 1/4″ drive socket goes over the piano pin and the 7/16th socket head goes over the drive pin of the 1/2″-drive wrench. Best if it’s a deep-socket-head type.
