The only time Beerus died was in the dragon ball super future trunks saga. Pretty much in the alternate time line Goku and Vegeta has whis and Beerus with them. In that timeline Zamasu had killed the Kais. Zamasu was also immortal at the time so being immortal doesn’t save you from getting erased from existance.
