Is Type F compatible with mercon?
Type F is not compatible with any other ATF. Specifically, it is not compatible with Mercon ATFs. Mercon is a suitable replacement for Type H and Type CJ fluid, but not for Type F. Mercon V—the most common Ford ATF in late model Fords, it is very much like Dexron III.
Can dexron 2 and 3 be mixed?
Yes, you can mix them together, as long as you peel one of the “I”s off of the Dextron III bottle before pouring it in…on second thought…you probably don’t even need to do that. They can be safely mixed.
How do I know my shocks are bad?
Other signs of car shocks and struts in bad condition are unusual noises over bumps, excessive body lean or sway in turns, or that the front end of the vehicle dives sharply in hard braking. Bad shocks also can affect steering control and cause uneven tire wear. Carrying heavy loads also will wear out shocks faster.
Can shocks go bad from sitting?
They may not go bad from just sitting, but they may go bad WHILE just sitting unused. The stock K bike shock is supposed to be a gas charged shock, and if the gas leaks out, it’s not going to work correctly. To check one – take the spring off – the shock should extend itself without a spring.

Is it OK to drive without shocks?
Shocks are for slowing suspension movment. So with no shocks, you will get more body roll, you hit a bump and youll be bob up and down for a while it will just be annoying as far as I know, nothing BAD about it, it will most likely be a bit harder on your bushings but not too bad.
