Is UWorld cars harder?
Just know that the UWorld questions are harder, and don’t put too much stock in your score. On the other hand, if you typically struggle with CARS, then this lower score can become discouraging over time. You may score very low, much lower than you’re used to.

The NS C/P section is definitely harder than AAMC, it’s very different but if you can hit 130 on their C/P 132 on AMMC C/P is reasonable. you’re ready to do exclusively AAMC material, section banks, q packs and FLs until the exam. get into their testing mindset. a 515 on NS shows you’re poised to do extremely well.
Is the actual MCAT harder than the practice tests?
No, if the exam really was harder then the scale will reflect that. On the aamc fl’s maybe 4 wrong was a 130, but a 130 may be 6/7 wrong on the real thing. Also there are experimental questions that dont count to your score on the real exam, so if you got those wrong it won’t even matter.
Why is the MCAT so hard?
The duration, scope and rigor of the MCAT makes it difficult even for academic overachievers. In addition to testing scientific knowledge, the MCAT tests verbal skills by requiring premeds to read and interpret social science and humanities passages. The MCAT is also much longer than a typical college final.
