What is SciFinder N?
SciFindern (SFn) is the new version of SciFinder (sometimes called SciFInder-web). This new and improved search engine has a different interface and search algorithm BUT provides the same great access to data and research.

To be eligible for free access, scientists must have become unemployed on Jan. 1, 2011 or later, from a U.S., Canadian, or European employer that participates in the SciFinder enterprise-wide pricing program, which provides unlimited access to all scientists across a customer’s organization.
How do I get a SciFinder account?
As a SciFinder user, you can create your own username and password using a registration form. The URL for the form is provided by your institution’s SciFinder administrator or librarian. The registration form must be used from an IP address authorized by the SciFinder administrator or librarian.

An academic institution or user can subscribe to the task-based, commercial version of SciFinder for $6,500 per year for 310 tasks. Each search is considered a task, and a substructure search counts as four tasks.
