What is the difference between a ratchet and a socket wrench?
A ratchet allows you to reposition the handle just by moving it backwards whereas a socket wrench without a ratchet means that you must lift the socket of the bolt/nut and move the whole tool combination to reposition it.

Should I buy metric or SAE wrenches?
Based on the different static, it’s being said that, if you are going to work on both foreign and domestic cars, you will largely need both metric and SAE Sockets. If you are passionate about imported cars or just to prefer them to work on, then metric tools give you real pleasure.
