What is the difference between a 4010 and 4020 John Deere tractor?
4020 engines are bigger. 4020 has a better PTO speed change. The 4010, both front and rear PTO are the same speed as selected by the bolt on stub (which if it comes loose can cause a lot of damage). The 4020 the front PTO always runs 1000 rpm and the spline insert changes only the rear PTO speed.
