If you haven’t been to the Lucky 38, they go back to wherever you recruited them from (except Raul, who goes to his shack.) If you have been to the Lucky 38, you have the option of sending them to your suite there or sending them to their original home.

Pretty much any high-end Guns (Riot Shotgun, 12.7mm SMG, Brush Gun, etc.) works for him. (Something to note about repeaters and revolvers is companions don’t go through the normal tedious reloading animations.)

If the path to take Benny out is chosen, Swank will send Benny to his room alone, where he can be spoken to or killed. This won’t cause the casino to become hostile. Killing Benny in his suite, regardless of circumstances, will not cause the casino main floor to become hostile.
Should I kill Mr House New Vegas?
You can remove House’s access to his systems without killing him… well, without killing him straight away. It will kill him eventually, and he’ll spend the intervening time locked in a metal coffin with no access to the outside world.
