Where do pet geckos live?
Leopard geckos originate from semi-arid deserts, so naturally, they love a warm, dry environment. But they also need a hiding place that’s moist and lovely—this is where they retreat to when it’s time to shed their skin. Multiple leopard geckos may be kept in a size-appropriate terrarium—but only one should be male.
Can you house golden geckos together?
Golden Gecko Housing Females can be housed together, but males are territorial, so there should generally only be one male per tank. Baby golden geckos do well in a 10-gallon terrarium.
Do Golden Geckos eat fruit?
Golden geckos will often eat fruit as well. You can try mashed bananas, pureed baby food, or sliced fruit; goldens especially like tropical fruits such as mangos.
Do Golden Geckos need heat lamps?

How many crickets should I feed my golden gecko?
Golden geckos will mainly consume insects such as crickets, mealworms and super worms. Hatchlings will need to be fed daily, and adults only need food every 5-6 days. Feed as many crickets as your gecko will take within 15 minutes. Crickets should be as long as your gecko’s head is wide to prevent choking.
Do flying geckos need UVB?
Since flying geckos are arboreal, they don’t spend much time on the ground. Being nocturnal, flying geckos usually sleep in the foliage or other hiding spots during the day and are active at night. UVB lighting is not necessary for these guys. You’ll want to turn any daylight off at night.
How do I feed my flying gecko?
Being insectivores, flying geckos will readily take crickets as their main food source. They will also take worms like mealworms, silk worms, phoenix worms and cut up earthworms. Young geckos should be fed 5-10 food items a day or until they get full. Adults can be fed 15 food items every three days or so.
