Will I lose muscle doing P90X?
You will definitely lose weight, and gain strength and muscle definition, but you won’t gain significant size or bulk if you’re following the program and the nutrition guide. I have been able to experience moderate muscle growth while doing p90x and loosing weight. (about 30 – 40 lbs, then I hit my target weight).

P90X includes a lot of strength training, so there is plenty of opportunity to stress the muscles to get results. This can be an advantage for skinny guys who have difficulty gaining muscle.
