Level 55 is the usual level for the final boss. Just using 3 characters will work. It’s a good idea to have those three characters at least fitted with the license for Flare for a short amount of time during the final boss fight, but it isn’t absolutely necessary.

Penelo, like Ashe, is a natural mage – and her general depiction in the game certainly makes her feel like your typical White Mage candidate. She’ll also make a decent Black Mage, Red Battlemage or Time Battlemage, however.

Ashe’s natural fit is as a mage. Red Battlemage is one of the obvious choices for her, seeing as how this class has access to maces, and Ashe has some considerable strength that makes wielding them effective. Ashe would also be perfect as a Black Mage, Time Battlemage, or even as a White Mage.

In order to be able to craft items in the bazaar, you need to sell combinations of loot items to any store. When enough requisite items are sold for a certain recipe, that new bazaar item will become available to purchase, again, at any store. Where you sell loot does not matter at all.

Fran: Recommended Jobs Fran isn’t an exceptionally great bow user, but the Archer class goes well hand-in-hand with Second License jobs. Fran can use an MP-based job to go hand in hand with her accuracy from far, and she is still a decent Archer. Fran’s stats don’t jump across the board.
