Why do you love being an accountant?
I love being an accountant, primarily because it is a job which continually offers lots of evidence of closure/completeness. In my opinion, it is mentally more satisfying to be able to see progress over the course of one’s day, week, month, year. Accounting offers this in spades.

IMHO, there is nothing to regret about majoring in accounting, it forms the basis of finance/ financial accounting and financial analysis. Since finance is more intuitional and analysis based while accounting is more on the lines of bookkeeping, it helps to know how items flow from 1 statement to the other.
Which is harder accounting or engineering?
Engineers tend to make a bit more on average. An engineering degree is also significantly more difficult than an accounting one. They are both solid career paths with lots of opportunity. Engineers have so many options but if you’re looking in a smaller area, you might have more trouble finding a job.
