Why does my flask not stay hot?
Could be the hot boiling water. A seal that is heat sensitive (ok for hot water but not boiling hot water) could be damaged with the excessive heat. I have used an old steel Thermos for 20 years and it still keeps my coffee hot all day. The outside of my Thermos does not get warm when filled with hot coffee.
