Why does my turn signal come on when I hit the brakes?
When pressing the brake pedal the passenger side turn signal lights come on. Since the STOCK tail light is red for brakes and amber for signal there are two seperate bulbs, not likely a bulb problem. The brake light circuit is shorted/bleeding into the signal light circuit!
How do I know if I have a bad turn signal relay?
The most common symptom of a bad or failing turn signal / hazard flasher is hazards or turn signal lights that do not function. If the flasher breaks or has any internal issues it can cause the lights to malfunction, or not respond at all when the turn signal lever or hazard light button are pressed.
How do you combine brake and turn signal lights?
Expert Reply: What you need is a converter to take the separate turn and brake light circuits and combine them. You will need converter # RM-732. It will take the separate signals and combine them so on the output side you have a green wire for right turn and brake and a yellow wire for left turn and brake.
Which of these warning signs is a hint that one of your turn signal bulbs is out and needs replacing?
Common signs include the turn signal indicator coming solid, blinking very fast, and the turn light bulbs themselves not blinking.
