Why is Arafat Day importance?
The Day of Arafah is known as the day where if sought after, millions of Muslims’ sins are forgiven by Allah. Arafah is known as the day Allah perfected the religion of Islam. It is also momentous because it was the day an important verse of the Qur’an, Surah al Maa’idah 5:3, was revealed.

What are Eid traditions?
Traditionally, it is observed during the first three days of the month of Shawwal. On the morning of Eid, Muslims do a ritual called ghusl, wherein they cleanse their body and fit the best dress before morning prayers. They greet each other with “Eid Mubarak”, which means “have a blessed Eid”.
What is so special about Eid?
The holiday celebrates the conclusion of the 29 or 30 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the entiremonth of Ramadan. Muslims believe that they are commanded by Allah, as mentioned in the Quran, to continue their fast until the last day of Ramadan and pay the Zakat and fitra before offering the Eid prayers.
