Why should we have faith in God?
Having faith is having trust. You have to trust with your entire being that God has your back that he will help you and take care of you. He knows what is best, but to truly embrace what he has planned for you, you have to fully trust. Our trust is not foolish, for our God is both faithful and good.
What kind of faith should we have in God?
when it comes to God, we have to believe things that we cannot see. You haven’t seen God or the devil. You haven’t seen heaven or hell. You haven’t seen sin; therefore, you wouldn’t know what you would look like if your sins were taken away.
Does God try our faith?
When we practice our faith, God increases our faith. “Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much,” Luke 16:10. When we seek Him from our little faith, He proves Himself faithful.
How can I have faith?
Here are five ways I try to keep faith when it seems impossible:
- Pray. Ask God, the universe, or whatever higher force you believe in for the strength to love to your full potential.
- Be generous to others.
- Get inspired.
- Surround yourself with people you admire.
- Get the ball rolling first thing in the morning.
What to do when you are struggling with your faith?
There are many ways to help develop a trust in God, but here are a few that have helped me.
- Ask for guidance. It’s okay to ask God for assistance. For clarity.
- Seek community and encouragement. In times when you are struggling, it’s okay to ask for help from those you love.
- Listen. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
Why do I feel like God is punishing me?
Feeling like you’re being punished by God is normal for two reasons: 1) life is filled with difficult losses, terrible tragedies, and dry stretches of boredom and loneliness; and 2) you are human, which means you screw up. You make mistakes, hurt others, fail to live up to your own standards, and let people down.
Why does God put you through hard times?
God Allows Suffering to Bring Us Closer to Him And He often uses hard times to get our attention. When things are going great we are not so quick to turn to Him. But when trials come, they often drive us to our knees in search of answers and comfort.
Can repeated sin be forgiven?
There is no limit. There is no limit on how many times you may ask forgiveness from God, even for the same repeated sin. However it should encourage us to keep on repenting, struggling with our sin clothed with the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), and bringing our sin to the Saviour.
