Facing an unequal world: challenges for global sociology

A community of considerable academic and professional as is the International Sociological Association, aware of the social transformations taking place in the world, cannot and should not be absent from the debate about inequality.

The great tradition of studies multi/inter/transdisciplinary in addressing the most complex problems of today’s world, your character exclusively academic, scientific, regional, institutional, and plural, makes this community is the most suitable and qualified to meet the challenges and contribute in this international exchange, from which can emerge an intellectual force and moral in order to achieve radical changes in ways of thinking, and influence in decisions that must be made in the world to ensure the preservation of human life and societies.
