ABET accreditation is not really good or bad. It’s effectively mandatory. An engineering degree granted in the U.S. from a non-ABET accredited school is just a fancy piece of paper. It’s not seen as credible by employers and is not accepted as a real degree for the purposes of taking Engineering licensing exams.
