First of all, building computers is process/assembly work. Unfortunately, since building PC’s is so easy, often companies will simply allocate the work to their warehouse staff. I was hired as a Storeperson, but had to build computers whenever my duties as a Storeperson dried up. So job openings are never available.

Is building a PC dangerous?

Can I wear socks while building a PC?
Not wearing socks and shoes could stop static building in the first place . Socks with nylon in them on a wool carpet can build up a decent charge very quickly so taking them off could help .
Is it safe to build a PC on wood?
