Can you change your common app essay after submitting to one school?
Students sometimes ask us whether or not they can submit different versions of the Common Application essay to different schools. As we’ve said before, the Common App is changeable. So yes, you can absolutely change the essay, submit it to a school, change it, and submit it again.
Can you submit the common app more than once?
You can create more than one application. Students can create up to 10 versions of their application, but 97% of applicants generate three or fewer. Ninety percent of students stick with the original application.
What is the disadvantage of the common application?
The Disadvantages of Using the Common App: No application process is perfect and the Common App is no exception.
- Online vs. Paper: There is no longer a paper version of the Common Application.
- Membership is selective: In order to become a member school, colleges and universities must apply.
How do I know if my college application went through?
Most colleges have status checks through their undergraduate admissions offices website. The confirmation that tells you they have received your application usually will have a website login and password so only you can see at what stage of the process your application is.
What does Oxford look for in an applicant?
In the case of applicants for admission to undergraduate courses Oxford and Cambridge look for: Excellent A level results (or accepted equivalents) Commitment to your subject and to serious study.
Does Oxbridge like EPQ?
As far as I’m aware, EPQ is of no relevance to Oxbridge applications. Some other universities accept EPQ as additional UCAS points. Oxford makes it very clear on their admissions pages: prospective students need to achieve three A levels at AAA (or above).
Which Oxford college is the hardest to get into?

Can you get into Oxford with bad grades?
Yes, your grades will need to really dazzle. GCSEs are seen as evidence of work ethic – and you need a really strong one of those to cope with studying at Oxford or Cambridge. Our ‘guesstimate’ is that the average successful applicant has around eight A* GCSEs – or 8/9 grades under the new system – under their belt.

Is Harvard harder than Oxford?
