Learn to be happy with the person who you are. There is no one else who you’ll spend more time with. On a similar note, learn to be okay with being alone sometimes because you can’t always count on other people. Be good company to yourself when you need to be.

The year 2020 taught us that life is short. For us, that means dreaming about travel today, researching trips, making plans and taking the leap at the first opportunity we can.

2020. 2020 taught us that humor is an essential tool in our mental survival toolkits. Speaking about essential things, we quickly learned how much we rely on essential workers, and who they are. We also learned that we are able to get by without many so-called “necessities.”
