What does a rush chair do?
The recruitment chair is responsible for maintaining the master list of recruitment contacts. This means making sure all potential new members are on the list with the correct contact information.
Does everyone get accepted into a sorority?
Each sorority submits to Panhellenic, their bid list. The sorority system at that school doesn’t guarantee a bid to everyone. If you really want to be a member of a sorority then your chances are better at a school with guaranteed bids. Some girls get released from every house before the recruitment is over.
Why can’t sororities have alcohol?
The reason that the NPC gives for this seemingly archaic rule is that it’s much cheaper to insure sororities if alcohol isn’t allowed in their houses. Sorority members pay about $25 to $50 a year for insurance policies, while fraternity members pay $180.

Can you pledge Delta after college?
If that college/university doesn’t have a chapter or the chapter is inactive, you cannot go to another chapter to seek membership. However, you may seek membership on the alumnae level upon receipt of your Baccalaureate degree.

How do you pledge Zeta?
Must have earned at least twelve (12) Credit Hours at the college or university where membership is being sought. All undergraduate members are required to maintain a 2.5 on a 4.0 scale grade point average after membership intake into the Sorority.
