How do you reupholster a door panel?
Please be patient!
- Lay the vinyl flat on the table “face” down.
- Lay your door panel foam-side down on the back of the vinyl.
- Loosely trace around the panel leaving a 2-3 inch gap around the entire panel.
- Cut out your vinyl.
- Apply adhesive to the back of the vinyl and let it tack.
Do door speakers need enclosures?
So, enclosures inside the door speakers are really good. If you could install any aftermarket enclosures in the door, then we would recommend that to you. But those cars which have a special design and structure for a speaker to mount. These are no less than any speaker enclosure.

Registered. Most car audio midrange/midbass drivers are specifically designed to work ”best” in a large, leaky enclosure- basically free air. Putting that type of driver in a small sealed enclosure will only result in less than optimal sound quality.

Are component speakers louder than coaxial?
Coaxial speakers are simple to install while component speakers are harder and take more time & effort. Component speakers, because of their design, offer better sound quality and clarity than coaxial speakers. Coaxials are good, but many are average (however, still much better than standard single-cone speakers).
