What can I flavor mead with?
In my brewing I have used the following spices; cinnamon, cloves, allspice, ginger, anise, nutmeg, cumin, and pepper. Of all of these, the best combinations I have found have been; cinnamon, cloves, allspice, ginger and nutmeg. For herbs, a sprig of fresh rosemary and sage add a nice aromatic bouquet to the mead.
