Should I take AP Lang or AP lit?
In general, I’d recommend AP Lang for students interested in basically any career path and AP Lit for students interested in reading, writing, and humanities. With either class, students will have to put in time and effort (and a good deal of reading and writing) to succeed.
Should I take AP lit in high school?
You should definitely take (or at least try) AP Lit. If AP Lang wasn’t too bad for you, you should definitely give it a go. If you absolutely hate the class, you can probably drop it later if your school allows it to.

Should I put AP Scholar with Distinction on common app?
If the answer is yes, don’t worry – you should still list these awards. Common achievements like National Honors Society, AP Scholar, and Honor Roll are honors that admissions officers often see fill this section, but they still help demonstrate your academic excellence!
