Do you get wet when tubing?
In general, a bathing suit is your best bet when tubing. You’ll definitely get wet, so you’ll want clothing that is water-safe and dries easily for when you get out or walk back. You won’t want to wear anything that will restrict your ability to swim, so you want your arms and legs free to move.
What do you do with the keys while tubing?
DO NOT TAKE ANY VALUABLES ON THE RIVER as most items sink and are never found! Again, always leave your keys with your Outfitter and place your cell phones, jewelry and other valuables in a safe place! Phones don’t float and do not work very well, if at all, after they have been submerged under water.
Is tubing safe for non swimmers?
yes, you’ll be fine. make sure to ask for a life jacket, all decent tubing offices should have one for you. They supply life jackets and the water isn’t deep. However you should decide fir yourself if you are confident enough to do it.
