Graceling is a young adult fantasy novel written by Kristin Cashore and published in 2008. It follows Katsa, a young woman “Graced” with a supernatural ability to kill. From age eight she has been trained by her uncle, a king, as a tool to enforce his policies-killing or maiming those who oppose him.
