Why does PETA still exist?
PETA is still around due to a technicality that allows for 70% kill rate “shelters” to be legally called animal shelters. They are still able to operate because they’re making money through the donations of people who think they help animals when in fact they don’t actually know how to take care of animals.
What is the problem with PETA?
PETA has also openly lied, trying to justify the large number of animals they euthanize. They claim that all of the animals they kill are irremediably suffering, stating that adoptable animals don’t come to PETA. Of course, the killing of puppies and kittens strongly betrays that, as does the more extreme case of Maya.
