How did a girl become a kite?
So what I think happened, is that when Pitou killed him, his soul/spirit stayed in this world because of his nen ability, while his body stuck around to become Pitou’s toy. That spirit, then found a body to use, which was the tiny girl body inside the Queen ant.
How was kite reborn if he wasnt eaten?
Everyone else that remembered there past life was eaten by the queen and then reborn as an ant, but Kite’s body was used by Pitou the whole time and never fed to the queen? Pitou probably only handed in the brain for the Queen and kept the body for itself so it could use it as a puppet.

We don’t know how good the weapon he got was. For all we know, that was his best roll. There is the theory hat Kite gets the exact weapong that he wanted. So the weapon that he got which probably was his best one, wasn’t able to defeat pitou with.

Since he said nothing after drawing the mace against Pitou he must’ve drawn the weapon he needed to survive as Ging said, which explains the new Kite. So his Nen ability only gives him weapons he uses to cause pain, making the power multiplied. That’s his cost he has to pay. So every roll is “bad” for Kite.
Will Kite be as strong as Meruem?
My theory is that Kite is stronger than he was as a human, a little weaker than the Royal Guard and clearly weaker than Meruem. But that’s just speculation. There’s zero evidence/insight of any kind as to how strong Kite is now. So Kite definitely has potential to be as strong or even stronger than royal guard.
