Then, we are about to discover how to avoid falling into an abusive practice of this type of platforms.

In the case of being hooked, how can we learn to make a responsible use?

Javier Rivera, a sociologist: I Suppose that it is good to spend a few days without them once in a while. Disengaging the weekend. Not paying much attention to what happens in them, that they are not the centre around which turn our social life. It is difficult to put yourself in the place of other people, but the tendency to show social life for example in Facebook, uploading photos of parties, vacation, etc., may reflect an excess of importance to personal image, to pretend. In this sense, perhaps it is important to erode a little the importance of appearances and promote an appreciation of things and people for what they “are” and not by the popularity that they have. But I guess that’s basically what it means to mature emotionally.

Mertxe Pasamontes, psychologist: If we detect that we meet several of the criteria mentioned, it would be time to stop to reflect. Also assess what is the use that we really need, because it is not the same thing to work in something related to the Network that enter only for pleasure or distraction.
