On August 29, 2019, Six Flags announced expansion plans for Fright Fest 2020, which will be the biggest and most expensive event to date. , all plans for Fright Fest 2020 were scrapped.

Fright Fest is Scary Fun! We all had a great time with all the rollercoater rides and the amazing zombies wandering the park! The park was totally decked out for Halloween everywhere, some fun and some just plain scary! There were also spooky shows and a haunted house too!

Can you go to Alton Towers and not go on rides?
Originally a castle, then a Stately Home and a Shooting Range they are partially open to guests throughout most of the season.
